In the near future Afromap is planning to own a ground  station «UniScan-36» for archiving remote sensing data from the below mentioned satellites:

• EOS AM-1 Terra.

• SPOT-4.

• Radarsat-1.

The ground station provides satellite images with a high resolution which can be of great use abilities in the fields of:

• Forestry.

• Agriculture.

• Land cover/Land use.

• Oil and gas industry.

• Geology.

• Map update.

• Building,

• Private companies in GIS.

• Risk insurance.

• Internet.

• Universities, research organizations, remote sensing aboratories.

• Ecology.

• Extraordinary situations,

• Environment protection NGOs.

• Education.

Referring to the memorandum agreement Afromap will have  onexclusive right to distribute the products all over the world.
